Have I told you lately how much I love family worship? We welcome and encourage parents to bring their kids to worship in the main services at GraceSLO. We believe worship is an acquired taste and that kids are a vital part of our church family.
Family Worship can be a hassle.
Family Worship can be inconvenient.
Family worship can be distracting.
Family worship requires sacrifice.
Family worship is a big investment for the long haul.
But family worship is so worth it!
We found this note sheet from last Sunday. No name. Not sure of the age, but it encouraged my heart to see the misspelling, but the clear tracking and processing.

A few reminders . . .
-
Let your kids doodle. They may listen better.
-
Don't force them to take notes. Chances are they'll start with time.
-
Allow your kids to sit with their friend's families or invite their friends to sit with them. Mix it up.
-
Sit closer to the front. Less distractions. There's a whole community of families up front in the 2nd hour.
-
If kids around you distract you, just gracefully move to a different part of the Worship Center.
-
Quiz your kids afterward. They'll love it and know to listen next time.
-
Be patient. It takes time for kids to figure this out. Maybe start with once a month.
-
Listen to this message to be encouraged and challenged.
