We were made to worship
“Genuine worship is the natural and proper response to the revelation of the holy Lord God of glory. It will bring about reverential fear, confession, sacrifice, praise and commitment. And when worship responds correctly to divine revelation, all four spiritual senses will be satisfied so that people will grow in grace and knowledge, live out their spiritual heritage, become one in the Lord, and walk in righteousness.”
--Allen Ross, "Recalling the Hope of Glory"
Music is one of God’s good gifts to us that we can use to worship Him. Corporate worship at Grace is a multi-generational experience. We approach worship in a way that encourages the whole family – every generation – to worship together. Worship at Grace is biblically-based and Gospel-centered and draws from both the rich heritage of the Church and contemporary expressions of praise and worship. From contemporary praise band to the Celebration choir and orchestra, whether classically trained or self-taught, opportunities abound for those who are musically gifted and desire to use those gifts in service to the Lord. We take Psalm 150 seriously: “Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord!”
Those who serve in the areas of Welcome ministry, music, the arts and technology fill important roles in corporate worship, facilitating Christ-centered worship. Wherever one serves, the goal is the same: that God’s people worship the Lord in spirit and truth.
