A complement, not a substitute

Because our gathering together to sing God's praises and hear His Word is central to our life together, we encourage adults and families to make participation in the Sunday morning worship services their first priority.   As a complement to the worship service, we also offer an array of Sunday morning topical Life Together Seminars and ongoing Adult Bible Fellowships.

 

Doctrine of the Future

This Doctrine Matters seminar based on Wayne Grudem’s “Systematic Theology”, will be The Doctrine of the Future. We’ll cover topics such as: When and how will Christ return? What is the millennium and when does it occur? Will Christians go through the great tribulation? Who will be judged at the final judgment? What is hell? What is heaven? How will the earth be renewed? What will it be like to live in the new heavens and the new earth? What are angels and why did God create them? How should Christians think of Satan and demons today?

Raising Trailblazers:  Rediscovering lost rites of passage in parenting

Do you wonder what it means to be a man or woman in Christ?  Or more importantly, how do I pass on to my children the knowledge and tools needed to be strong men and confident women in Christ? Over ten weeks, we'll study and discuss the bible along with two amazing books ("Raising a Modern Day Knight" & "Raising a Trailblazer").  These books, personal testimony, and small group discussions will help us all discover and utilize God-given parenting tools.  The seminar is open to parents of all ages. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is back.  Whether you are in great financial shape or you need some help, this seminar is for you.  You will learn about budgeting, saving, investing, insurance, giving and more.  Learn how to get out of debt and stay out of debt, and how you can best steward the resources God has entrusted to you.  Seating is limited and there is a fee of $100 per family which includes lifetime membership and the Membership Kit, which includes a workbook, audio CD library of all the sessions to review after the course, Dave’s best-selling book, budgeting forms, and more.  Scholarships are available.

Bereans

Currently taught by Tom Forselles and Danny Edwards

This fellowship of senior adults cares for one another deeply.  They enjoy singing classic hymns and studying God's Word together.   New folks are always welcomed warmly.  The Bereans are currently studying the book of Proverbs and Hebrews.
