How Can You Be Involved in Missions at GraceSLO?
-
Pray
Prayer is the single most important aspect of missionary involvement and support. “The history of missions is the history of answered prayer” (Samuel Zwemer). Everyone can partner with God in His purposes for the nations! Find out how you can receive updates from our missionaries and pray for them.
-
Faithfully and cheerfully give to the General Fund at GraceSLO
Since 12% of our church's annual budget goes directly toward global missions, giving to the work of the Gospel at GraceSLO furthers the cause of global missions. The more we grow as a church numerically and financially, the more we are able to give and grow our investment in global missions. So make a commitment to financially give to the work of the Lord at GraceSLO.
-
Attend DWAPs
Join us regularly to gather with other missions-minded people at a “Dessert With A Purpose.” We hear reports from and discuss missions-relevant topics with our career and short-term missionaries.
-
Participate in Our Missions Conference
Every year we dedicate a week at Grace to focus on missions. Come network with other mission-minded people and participate in the various events hosted by our Missions Team.
-
Start a Support Team
Consider starting a “support team” for one of our Grace missionaries. Meet regularly to pray and brainstorm ways to advocate for a missionary and the people group they seek to reach.
-
Consider Going on a Short-Term Mission Trip
The short-term mission experience can be a vital step in preparing for a missionary career abroad or for life at home as a World Christian. Grace Church regularly sends out teams to serve cross-culturally to countries like Mexico, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, and North India. When you’re ready, download our “Short-Term Missions Application”!

Support Grace Church’s Commitment to Reaching the Unreached
Our Adopt-A-People Team is excited to announce that our leadership has chosen to pursue a partnership with a church-planting mission in North India by the name of Empart (Empowering and Partnering). Empart is transforming communities with the Gospel by training indigenous pastors to start local churches among the 500,000+ unreached villages of North India and neighboring countries. This represents work among 800 million perishing souls! Empart church planters are reaching these people who have never before even heard the name of Jesus. The goal is to plant 100,000 churches by the year 2030. So far in 10 years Empart has planted 3,200 churches, trained 911 church planters, baptized 54,320 believers, and established 18 training centers, 33 children’s homes, 21 tailoring centers, and 4 education centers. Truly the harvest is plentiful in this spiritually dark land!
