What is Rent-A-Kid?
Rent-A-Kid is a scholarship program run by GraceSLO Student Ministries to help with funds for Hume Lake. Members of the congregation enlist the services of our capable junior high and high school students for tasks such as babysitting, yard work, housework or anything else you may need help with.
Why Rent-A-Kid?
God continues to use Hume Lake to impact student’s lives. The activities, fellowship and powerful speakers in the beautiful and “away-from-it-all” setting of Hume Lake allow for powerful life change in the important teenage years. Such a great program does include a high cost of $525 per student. Rent-A-Kid is a great program to help offset this cost for our students and their families.
How it works:
Sign up to Rent-A-Kid from the link below. Someone from GSM will contact you with the names and contact info of students that fit your job so that you can set up the work to be done. After the work if finished, send a check to GraceSLO Student Ministries at PO Box #33, SLO, CA 93406 with the name of the kid(s) rented in the memo line. Your contribution will go straight into their Hume account.
When to sign up:
Now through June 10, 2012. Jobs should be finished and payments should be received by June 30, 2012.
